Southeast Mortgage was founded in 1993 by President and CEO, Cal Haupt. Haupt brought extensive management and banking experience to the new company and retained leadership roles as Vice President for First Union National Bank of Georgia groups and later with the Atlanta Financial Consultant Group for First Union Corporation. In 1997, Haupt joined Southeast Mortgage full time as president and CEO with a mission to begin providing the individualized and incomparable mortgage services Georgia needed.

Since 1993, Haupt assembled a dedicated team of other mortgage professionals with extensive experience in client relations and the mortgage industry that are leaders of the Southeast Mortgage team today. With a qualified and enthusiastic team of professionals, the company experienced unparalleled growth.
